Many schools require that resources be previewed before purchase or that their purchase be supported by authoritative reviews to ensure they will be suitable additions to the curriculum. Some teacher librarians also choose to create a database of just-in-case reviews. Create a spreadsheet with key curriculum areas and genres and copy and paste reviews of titles to consider purchasing as finances allow. Develop a code that identifies must-have, probable and possible resources at a glance.
